This half-day excursion is designed to show you the most beautiful aspects of Argolis in the region of Peloponnese. We visit two of the UNESCO world heritage sites, the famous Mycenae and the Ancient theatre of Epidaurus, all while enjoying the region’s stunning and picturesque natural landscapes.
We pick you up from your hotel or a specific meeting point in Nafplio, and then we begin our excursion to these majestic historical monuments.Firstly, we stop in the famous Mycenae, a major center of Greek civilization from 1600BC to 1100BC, and the home of the Mycenaean civilization and Greek prehistory, where we visit the famous burial circles, the Gate of the Lions, and the renowned vaulted tombs of Atreus and Clytemnestra. Furthermore, wander around the remains of the ancient city of Mycenae and admire its rich history.
Continuously we visit the world heritage listed city of Epidaurus, with the famous theatre of Epidaurus that took “flesh & bones” back in 340BC. Wander in Asklipeio amphitheatre and get impressed by the perfect acoustics of the theatre which still hosts rich musical, dance & theatrical performances. Savoring the region’s enchanting and awe-inspiring natural beauty.
Finally we return to Nafplio full of memories and knowledge.

This tour was a real treat! Our tour leader, Kostas, was very informative and went out of his way to provide information about the sites we visited, as well as sites along the route. He also showed our group of 6 around Nafplio, something he did not need to do. A Great Experience!
